Hip hop fashion is a style that originated from African-American, Latino, and Caribbean-American youth who were based on The 5 Boroughs, a city in New York. However, hip hop was later influenced by numerous other places, which contributed to what we know of hip hop fashion today. Naturally, hip hop fashion is a reflection of its culture.

From the 1980s, different brands have taken on the hip hop scene, including sports super brands, Adidas and Nike, Inc, which added to their popularity. Clothing items such as leather bomber jackets, Dr. Martens boots and sneakers were worn, becoming their ‘uniform’.

During the end of the 80s decade, hip hop fashion, jewelry, and hairstyle reflected traditional African culture. Africa chains, blousy pants, red, black and green clothing, and dreadlocks were donned by rappers such as MC Hammer. When the 90s rolled in, baseball caps, neon clothing and even wearing clothes backwards became the new trend.

Hip hop fashion for men and women became different; men continued wearing blousy pants or baggy jeans, sunglasses and heavy workboots, while women began to wear tighter jeans. However, women adapted the men’s style by wearing them, and adding a feminine touch, such as putting on lip gloss and make up.

Brands like Dickies, Chuck Taylors, and Raiders contributed to the popularization of pants, sneakers, and baseball caps, respectively. Even Chanel joined in, featuring models wearing the classic look of hip hop: black leather jackets and gold chains, or black dresses with silver chains.

Moreover, hairstyles that were traditionally African-American resurged, such as Afros and cornrows, the latter created by wearing a Du-rag over the head all the time, keeping the hair from being displaced. Eventually, Du-rag became a hip hop fashion accessory on its own. By the mid to late 90s, instead of gold, platinum became the choice of metal for hip hop jewelry, which was often studded with diamonds.

There are various vintage styles that are still a big hit today. A few examples of these are the Twiggy dresses, plaids and paisley prints and aviators and wayfarers. Vintage shirts are also still trendy nowadays. These are usually shirts with printed images of a popular vintage icon such as Madonna or a soda brand. If you are convinced that vintage fashion is still very popular, don’t you think that it is a great way for people to earn cash by selling vintage clothing? Not everyone has a grandparent whose closet they can raid. They need someone who could provide and satisfy their vintage fashion needs. If you are planning to get into the selling business, you would really save a lot and gain more profit if you buy wholesale vintage clothing. Buying them at wholesale would come out really cheap compared to if you were to buy them in retail. If you get the items cheaper, then you could also sell them cheaper. Through this, you could create an edge among those who are also selling fashionable clothes.

A piece of advice when you are about to start selling your vintage clothing is to sell them online. Not only do you save on advertising and marketing but you get a bigger target market, thus more customers. Some people find this very convenient. All they need is an internet connection and a way to pay online. The advantage for this aside from the one I previously mentioned is that you could also save on rent. You could just stay in the house and monitor your online shop. One way to maximize your profits even more is to become a vintage clothing wholesale seller. You could be the source of stocks of people who also want to take advantage of the vintage fashion passion.

Hip-Hop culture is a unique phenomenon because it does incorporate and affect so many different cultures, ages and classes. In the early 1970′s the unnamed culture known today as “hip-hop” was forming in New York City’s ghettos. Each element in this culture had its own history and terminology contributing to the development of a cultural movement. The culture was identified in the early 1980′s when DJ Afrika Bambaataa named the dynamic urban movement, “hip-hop.” Since that time “hip-hop” has served as a powerful voice and form of expression for young black audiences and has evolved into a culture with its own language, style of dress and mindset. The hip hop culture envelops not only music but also fashion and dance.

What makes hip hop’s evolution is the range of flavor the culture has to offer and what “hip-hop heads” thrive on is individuality and creativity, which is never more apparent than in hip-hop fashion. In fact, hip hop fashion is one of the top clothing industries in the world today. It is claimed to have begun in the African American community but has spread quickly into being a truly universal style for people of all ethnicities and sexes and a lynch pin of hip hop culture. Hip hop fashion is preferred by various celebrities such as 50 cent, Puff Daddy, Ja Rule and Sean Combs. It is often satirized by comedians such as Ali G. Hip hop fashion is a visible element of hip hop culture.

Hip hop dancing is evolving in many different directions today, heavily influenced by the evolution of hip hop music and its popularity in media, surrounded by heated debates on history and authenticity. Modern hip hop music gave birth to new styles of hip hop dancing partly inspired by the old school styles. Most of those styles focused on upright dancing as opposed to breakdance which is better known for its floor-oriented movements. To express one’s creative talent, hip-hop dancing is perhaps the best way in which impressions and expressions come from the soul.

Music has always played a key role in shaping minds and attitudes. Hip hop music sheds light on contemporary politics, history and race. The social influence hip hop music has on the hip hop cultural movement includes activities of dancing, associated slang, fashion and other elements. Hip hop music encompasses the written word, visual art, dance and rhythmic style with intricate beats. Music has no boundaries and no limits; anything worthy should be available through music, especially spirituality and religion. A big influence on the hip hop identity is its redeeming music.

Culture is the product of a current reality. The identity of a culture is created by the work and thought of human beings. It is the expression of a class or element of a particular class and is reflective of a certain period. The allure of Hip Hop culture as an organizing mechanism has arisen primarily because there is no existing political apparatus that adequately addresses the needs of young people and/or poor and working class communities; in a political vacuum. Culture, as a general matter, cuts to the core of how people articulate their beliefs, values and customs. Hip Hop culture is the most visible and vocal representative entity of its own identity.

Music has many genres, and there are different categories in each of the genres. Also, music continuously keeps evolving in new forms. Hip Hop has been quite popular for a long time, and in the recent days, more and more musicians are using hip hop drum beats. In fact, it is the use of the drum machines that has given rise to these beats. It is also because of this reason that it is largely considered that the hip hop beats simply cannot be produced without the drums at the center. Remixed versions of a wide varieties of musical pieces is one of the popular traits of the hip hop drum beats. This is basically done by looping which indicates that the drum beats would not require any constant consent of the artist. There are only a few tools needed to produce a track and can be created with the help of different styles which can be further categorized into scratching, sampling, rapping, and even, beat boxing.

The hip hop drum beats can again be divided into vocals and the beats. The beat is nothing but the instrumental music played in different instruments. Audio drum loops, bass line, snips, dub and many more things are included as part of the elements of this genre. This form of music is indeed very trendy and funky. That is why these beats are usually found at the parties. However, these beats can be played only in some instruments like synthesizers, pianos and even guitars.

Though the musical style has undergone tremendous changes, the drum sound has always been the center of focus for these beats. The hip hop drum beats today, in fact, has occupied an important part of the music industry, and it would continue to rock the music world in a similar manner. These beats are quite easy to create because with the software available on the internet, the musicians can learn to create different beats. The software is available on different sites of the internet, and it is available to try for free, in other words you can sample the software, try it out without spending any money and if you like you can make the full purchase.

Dancing is an incredible way to learn about yourself and in my opinion, an incredible way for people to reflect upon themselves and what they want to be. Get off your butt and actually look for your local community of bboys. Find out when and where these guys practice. Bboys will practice just about anywhere, but in some cases you may find a group of aspiring bboys practicing and training in a local gym’s multipurpose room. Ask the people that work at the gym or ask fellow dancers.

Talk to the bboys and find a good mentor(s). Aside from their intimidating attitude in battles, bboys are generally very nice. Hip Hop teaches love and peace and bboys true to that meaning will accept “newbies” to their craft anytime. Ask them for tips and make sure you really listen and take their advice to heart. racticing bboying is much harder than you may think. Patience is the key, but as in all things, you must be persistent and extremely hard-working. Take your breaks logically and be safe but do not slack off. Your fellow bboys and those in the community will support your work ethic.

The resources are ALL out there for you to learn, improve, and get better. Start with youtube, search for some beginner tutorials and learn from those or browse bboy forums. In this case, step number one will be replaced with this online source. Keep in mind though, that being on your own without physical help from someone requires an extensive amount of mental strength and stamina to get yourself to train. Therefore, the emphasis on step number 3 is more crucial than ever, leaving your ability to get better up to your own desire and will-power.

Graffiti art doesn’t just mean art we see sprayed on walls. In fact, graffiti art has such strong characteristics that it’s easy to spot them everywhere – in schools, on sidewalks, on bicycles, on automobiles, on skateboards and on textbooks, just to name a few examples. Graffiti art has a loose feel about it. There are no strict rules to creating graffiti art, except a few distinct characteristics that always make graffiti art appear stylish.

First, graffiti art are usually loose forms. But these forms are usually just clear enough to represent what they’re supposed to represent. The shapes are loosely created, and the subjects overlap one another in a rather random manner. Highlights are applied to the image if needed but again, these are loosely applied. Second, texts are usually visible, and drawn in an embossed manner that gives a 3D impression. These texts usually form a few words or a short phrase, and makes up a part of the entire graffiti artwork. And finally, graffiti art is usually created with a wide variety of colors. Bright and luminous colors like red, orange, yellow, green and blue are preferred. There’s little or no intention for color harmony and the goal here is to create a dazzling array of colors that draw attention to the graffiti art itself.

Due to these characteristics, it’s no surprise that we see so many teenagers being drawn to graffiti art. But once you recognize these characteristics, you’ll also come to understand that it’s not all that hard to create a piece of graffiti art, even if you know little about drawing. For a start, you may want to look up some tattoo images to use as reference images or to draw inspiration. Images like skulls or roses make great subjects for graffiti art. Once you have your image ready, you’ll need some magic markers as well. Try out the same image using different colors and see which end result you prefer. You may also wish to add in some texts. Glittering markers make an excellent drawing tool for graffiti art.

First of all, what needs to be decided is the place where the shop would be opened. For this, one needs to be a bit particular and try searching in places that are famous and are in the central part of the city. It is necessary to open a store in a place which is attractive and interesting to people of all classes. Another very important aspect that would make the store more interesting and attractive to people is that of its design. At times stores have the CD’s and cassettes put up on shelves or at times they have them put up on racks in the alphabetical order in order to make it easier for the customers to look them up. Another way of making it easier for the customers is to divide them into categories and this also gives the store a more organized look.

Decoration of the store is also very necessary. It is something that attracts visitors. For this one can use posters of the latest albums that have been released and are available at the store as well as the others that are popular and in demand. A cash register along with an inventory program in a computer system database is also very necessary. This is necessary because information about all the CD’s and cassettes can be saved in the computer so it is easy to look up whether some are lacking and need to be reordered. A decent price rate needs to be decided upon and the range should be such that it can be afforded by people of all classes. Last but not the least, it is necessary to advertise the opening date and location at least in the newspaper as this would be rather attractive for the people.

Graffiti is not only a nuisance but it is also unsightly and can be offensive to local residents. Depending upon the size and type of graffiti there are a number of removal options that may be suitable. For small amounts of graffiti on easily cleanable surfaces it may be possible to remove yourself. With a cleaning agent and cloth or tough brush it might be possible with a little, or a lot of, hard work to remove the graffiti yourself. Although this can be a time consuming task, and isn’t really viable for larger incidents of graffiti.

Graffiti cleaning is by far a worthwhile task; vandalism can hugely affect a community in a negative way, somewhat encouraging incidents of other small crimes and suggesting to others a lack of respect for the local area. By investing in graffiti removal services it will leave local residents with a sense of pride, encouraging a renewed appreciation for the local area and desire to ensure incidents of graffiti or vandalism are prevented in the future. Many companies offer specialist graffiti removal services, these utilize professional cleaning solutions designed to break down he graffiti on any surface leaving a newly cleaned area. But once you have invested in these services it’s important to establish a plan to prevent further incidents of graffiti that could lead to more costly graffiti cleaning.

After you have invested in graffiti cleaning why not discuss with a specialist graffiti removal company the options available to prevent further costly cleaning, such as anti graffiti coatings. These protective coatings enable future incidents of graffiti to be quickly and easily removed, therefore dramatically reducing cost. These coatings prevent graffiti ‘sticking’ to surfaces, painted onto the surface these are usually clear coatings and work in two ways. You can either opt for a sacrificial coating, that protects a surface from graffiti but once cleaned is removed and needs to be re-coated, or a semi sacrificial coating which is not completely removed on cleaning the graffiti.
