Music has many genres, and there are different categories in each of the genres. Also, music continuously keeps evolving in new forms. Hip Hop has been quite popular for a long time, and in the recent days, more and more musicians are using hip hop drum beats. In fact, it is the use of the drum machines that has given rise to these beats. It is also because of this reason that it is largely considered that the hip hop beats simply cannot be produced without the drums at the center. Remixed versions of a wide varieties of musical pieces is one of the popular traits of the hip hop drum beats. This is basically done by looping which indicates that the drum beats would not require any constant consent of the artist. There are only a few tools needed to produce a track and can be created with the help of different styles which can be further categorized into scratching, sampling, rapping, and even, beat boxing.

The hip hop drum beats can again be divided into vocals and the beats. The beat is nothing but the instrumental music played in different instruments. Audio drum loops, bass line, snips, dub and many more things are included as part of the elements of this genre. This form of music is indeed very trendy and funky. That is why these beats are usually found at the parties. However, these beats can be played only in some instruments like synthesizers, pianos and even guitars.

Though the musical style has undergone tremendous changes, the drum sound has always been the center of focus for these beats. The hip hop drum beats today, in fact, has occupied an important part of the music industry, and it would continue to rock the music world in a similar manner. These beats are quite easy to create because with the software available on the internet, the musicians can learn to create different beats. The software is available on different sites of the internet, and it is available to try for free, in other words you can sample the software, try it out without spending any money and if you like you can make the full purchase.

Dancing is an incredible way to learn about yourself and in my opinion, an incredible way for people to reflect upon themselves and what they want to be. Get off your butt and actually look for your local community of bboys. Find out when and where these guys practice. Bboys will practice just about anywhere, but in some cases you may find a group of aspiring bboys practicing and training in a local gym’s multipurpose room. Ask the people that work at the gym or ask fellow dancers.

Talk to the bboys and find a good mentor(s). Aside from their intimidating attitude in battles, bboys are generally very nice. Hip Hop teaches love and peace and bboys true to that meaning will accept “newbies” to their craft anytime. Ask them for tips and make sure you really listen and take their advice to heart. racticing bboying is much harder than you may think. Patience is the key, but as in all things, you must be persistent and extremely hard-working. Take your breaks logically and be safe but do not slack off. Your fellow bboys and those in the community will support your work ethic.

The resources are ALL out there for you to learn, improve, and get better. Start with youtube, search for some beginner tutorials and learn from those or browse bboy forums. In this case, step number one will be replaced with this online source. Keep in mind though, that being on your own without physical help from someone requires an extensive amount of mental strength and stamina to get yourself to train. Therefore, the emphasis on step number 3 is more crucial than ever, leaving your ability to get better up to your own desire and will-power.

Graffiti is not only a nuisance but it is also unsightly and can be offensive to local residents. Depending upon the size and type of graffiti there are a number of removal options that may be suitable. For small amounts of graffiti on easily cleanable surfaces it may be possible to remove yourself. With a cleaning agent and cloth or tough brush it might be possible with a little, or a lot of, hard work to remove the graffiti yourself. Although this can be a time consuming task, and isn’t really viable for larger incidents of graffiti.

Graffiti cleaning is by far a worthwhile task; vandalism can hugely affect a community in a negative way, somewhat encouraging incidents of other small crimes and suggesting to others a lack of respect for the local area. By investing in graffiti removal services it will leave local residents with a sense of pride, encouraging a renewed appreciation for the local area and desire to ensure incidents of graffiti or vandalism are prevented in the future. Many companies offer specialist graffiti removal services, these utilize professional cleaning solutions designed to break down he graffiti on any surface leaving a newly cleaned area. But once you have invested in these services it’s important to establish a plan to prevent further incidents of graffiti that could lead to more costly graffiti cleaning.

After you have invested in graffiti cleaning why not discuss with a specialist graffiti removal company the options available to prevent further costly cleaning, such as anti graffiti coatings. These protective coatings enable future incidents of graffiti to be quickly and easily removed, therefore dramatically reducing cost. These coatings prevent graffiti ‘sticking’ to surfaces, painted onto the surface these are usually clear coatings and work in two ways. You can either opt for a sacrificial coating, that protects a surface from graffiti but once cleaned is removed and needs to be re-coated, or a semi sacrificial coating which is not completely removed on cleaning the graffiti.

Reading a book is very easy but writing one is very tough. Anyone can read it but very few people can write it. Similarly, listening to music is easy and entertaining thing that also helps in relieving stress but composing music could be really stressful. Moreover, reader would read your book if it keeps him hooked, if story is good in beginning and becomes nonsense somewhere in middle; it would not get good response. Similarly, a song would not get the deserved success if only lyrics are good but hip hop drum beats are weak.

Making drum beats is an art and it begins with understanding the drum kit (instrument that is responsible for generating them). Whether you use live or online drum-set for creating hip hop drum beats, parts as well as functions remain same. Core drums have three most essential parts: Snare, Hi-hat, Bass drum (biggest and most bad).

There could also be some other parts but you are going to use these three over 90% of time while making drum beats. You must understand how all these works and you can do that by listening to sounds that are produced by them and then distinguish characteristics of their beats. You need to find what each of them may contribute while you’re trying to make good music. If you are searching for an affordable as well as convenient method of making hip hop drum beats, then you would be glad to know that you can find one online. Live kit is also very good but you need more time along with money as well as practice.

With the rise in popularity and hence, commercialism of the hip-hop subculture nowadays, the urban lifestyles various facets have naturally been pushed into the mainstream. Not without the help of MTV and its various offshoots, a lifestyle that just a few years ago was still underground is now common fodder for soft-drink commercials, billboard ads and even NBA games. It’s not uncommon nowadays to ask a 50 year old Caucasian farmer from the Midwest who The Fresh Prince is and get a correct answer.

It’s only natural then that the street arts that make-up the backbone of hip-hop has also gained international pop attention. Graffiti writing, break-dancing, rapping and beat-boxing used to be confined to the urban ghettos of the main cities of America like New York and Los Angeles. Now spray-painted (aerosol) art can be seen on the walls of Berlin, national break-dancing competitions in Seoul are televised globally, and rappers are a dime a dozen in the cities of the Philippines. One can truly say hip-hop has gone pop when Iraqi kids scramble to get their hands on posters of 50cent. The saying “music knows no boundaries” becomes a colossal understatement indeed in light of this.

‘Deejaying’ or the more accurate term- turntablism, is one of the last nuances of hip-hop to come out of the urban jungles of America. DJ Babu of the world-famous Beat Junkies (an award-winning turntablist crew) defines a turntablist as “one who uses the turntable in the spirit of a musical instrument”. Still, a more detailed definition- “a musician: a hip-hop disc jockey who in a live/spontaneous situation can manipulate or restructure an existing phonograph recording to produce or express a new composition that is unrecognizable from its original ingredients.” The word hip-hop was said to have been coined from the way early turntablists ‘hopped’ from one turntable to another in a ‘hip’ fashion during live shows with rappers. Indeed, the DJ has come a long way from being a rapper’s sidekick during hip-hop’s infancy. Now they can be seen playing in rock bands like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Incubus- packing stadiums throughout the globe with their fusion of rock and hip-hop music.

This Hip Hop Legend is still Public Enemy #1… The hardest, political, Black Power music group in the 80′s – ’90′s was, hands down, Public Enemy. Public Enemy, or “P.E.” for short, is composed of many people, but the main members are: Chuck D, Flavor-Flav, Professor Griff, Terminator X, Harry Allen, Hank Shocklee, and Bill Stephney. They met in the early ’80′s at Adelphi University and at local musical events around the Long Island, NY area. Chuck D, the main voice of the group, is credited with being the common link among the many members as he was quite known on campus as a talented artist studying graphic design as well as a DJ at WBAU.

Much of the success of the group revolves around the contrast of personalities/ images among the three most visible members: Chuck D, Flava-Flav, and Prof. Griff. Prof. Griff was the leader of a security team called, “The Unity Force” and would sometimes be hired by Chuck D to work at the local parties he was deejaying. Chuck D and Flav practiced their unique routines together while working part-time delivering furniture for Chuck D’s father’s store in Laurelton, Queens. The idea for Flav’s introduction segments were inspired by the James Brown/ Bobby Bird technique as well as famous Philly rappers Schooly D and Cold Money.

P.E.’s first album, “Yo! Bum Rush the Show” was released in 1987; but it wasn’t until their second album, “It takes a Nations of Millions to Hold Us Back”, that they achieved recognition and celebrity status. This album, a genuine classic, is still not outdated today. This album shocked and petrified the mainstream audience calling Minister Louis Farrakhan “a prophet”. This innovative mix of free jazz, hard funk, even musique concrète by their producing team, the Bomb Squad created a sound unlike anything that came before.
